Former West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu is no more. He died at 11.47 a.m. He was 95. He was admitted to AMRI hospital on January 1, 2010 following complaint of acute respiratory problems. Jyoti Basu was India's longest serving chief minister (1977-2000).
